we are finally here to start the fall semester in bluff. after a little break, we have all come back together to join forces and get some houses built! we all did a variety of things over break… personally, i took a solo trip around arizona and utah for a week and had an absolute blast. i traveled around to flagstaff, sedona, the grand canyon, lake powell, and passed through many other amazing places on the way. i did a lot of hiking, a little bit of music, a little bit of rest, and a lot of fun. one of the great benefits of this opportunity is the ability to travel around areas of the west i have never been able to before… so i got a head start, and im lovin it!

james and i, my cooking partner, are having our first experience cooking for 25 which has been interesting. but i think, overall, we are all just excited to be down here together and looking forward to getting started on the houses. we have a few days of orientation and a few days of working on our property to acclimate to the heat… and thursday we’ll be out on the res!
