    Beyond half way there

    You may have seen these before, but I just wanted to share this shot of the brows in action- doing a wonderful job shading the house.

    The end of the week is nearing and the clouds were looming, causing beautiful effects of light and shadow in our landscape.  Blue Mountain looked dark and quiet in the distance and the rain never hit us.

    Entry brow is coming right along.  I would like to celebrate the craft of construction with this piece and attention to detail in designing and building an effective and beautiful awning to speak the same language as the window brows.

    Patio roof joists are looking great against the sky as of now, soon to be backed by steel corrugation.

    Door team discusses options with cladding the bi-fold doors in cedar.  Upon installation, they should blend in with the wood boxes, only called out by a handle.

    Henry is working on getting the stove ready to burn.  Seen here, he is installing the chimney after cutting a square foot hole in the roof.

    Tonight is a time to wind down at the end of this strong session 3 completion.  We will celebrate the work we have accomplished and congratulate Hiroko and Atsushi for the new baby girl they will bring into the world, showering them with appreciation- and cake!
