By the looks of the work done, you wouldn’t guess that nearly half our group was gone. Small nimble teams accomplished the majority of the goals we had remaining for this week. Three people were able to finish putting up trusses on the middle two modules of the house, three others finished wrapping the lower half of the house. The window flashing was completed far enough that we were able to place the first window. In quiet agreement the teams worked through a pleasant day on site, where we were able to enjoy the work, and each-others company during lunch.
We left site early. A quick end to a quick and productive day on site. Arriving back on campus, and having dinner early together without the persistent work of a nightly meeting… We were off, the week was over. Those of us remaining trickled off onto separate weekend adventures.
