Hey, hey! Guess what?! WE HAVE WALLS. Well partially.
Our focus for today was to get the plywood sheathing on the exterior of the structure. The stud walls alone tend to move before the sheathing is applied, so our goal was to ensure that all of our walls were plumb and placed correctly before attaching the plywood.
Although it’s a very time-consuming part of the process, it’s one of the most important parts of construction to ensure that everything fits together straight for the remainder of the build.
If you thought the excitement ended there, it sure didn’t. On the way back to campus, one of the minivans had a tire that just needed a few patches done. Shoutout to Allii for changing that beast.
Until next time,
