Designing dreams with a deadline
DesignBuildBLUFF is a nonprofit entity (the Center for Life Specific Design, a contributing organization to the University of Utah, College of Architecture+Planning) with (at least) two goals: exploring housing solutions for families with unique needs and challenging financial circumstances, and offering a unique, once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity to first-year graduate students of architecture.
As many of the materials used to build the homes are donated, recycled, or harvested from the ground, and the families that we provide homes for cannot provide more than their labor, funding is always an issue.
