Eric Cook

Mr. Cook has been gnawing at the perfect synthesis of mental and physical activity for the better part of his life. He has fought perpetual boat bite in the search for the set, quarried, humped, and installed rocks into trails in the White Mountains, concussed repeatedly in the Wasatch, and slept off 28-hour Initial Attack shifts in the Lone Peak crummies.

In college, he pursued the rigors of Mathematics and the subtleties of the Russian language, literature, and culture.

Following a wonderful hiatus from academia, he returned to a PhD program in Mathematics only to bail (with an MA) after two years for the UofU’s Architecture program.

After seeing countless sunrises from Building 0037, Eric got on the bus for the dusty outpost of Bluff, picking up the scent of an unparalleled balance of mind and body.

His return is punctuated with head-scratching, amusement, (his own) smashed fingers, and cold barley sodas at sundown.
